Sizes & Custom Builds

Standard sizes are a wide grid in our published range, but we also build to your site through preferred sizes and full custom dimensions. The questions below cover what's standard, what's custom, and what the limits are.

What sizes do you offer?

A wide range of standard sizes, with three tiers of customisation if a standard does not fit your site:

TierWhat it meansCost impact
StandardAny size on the published size gridNo surcharge
Preferred sizesSmall adjustments - extra sheet/rib sizes+$235 (deep rib) / +$360 (corrugated)
Full customAny dimension not on the size grid+$460 (deep rib) / +$590 (corrugated)

Standard sheet lengths for corrugated: 0.81m, 1.58m, 2.34m, 3.10m, 3.86m, 4.62m, 5.38m, 6.14m, 6.90m, 7.66m.

Standard sheet lengths for deep rib: 0.81m, 1.58m, 2.35m, 3.12m, 3.89m, 4.66m, 5.43m, 6.20m, 6.97m, 7.74m, 8.51m, 9.28m.

The simplest way is to share the dimensions you need with the sales team - they will quote the closest standard size, the closest preferred size, and a full custom build so you can compare.

Can I get a custom-sized shed?

Yes. There are three custom tiers:

  1. Standard size - any dimension on the published grid. No premium.
  2. Preferred size - a small adjustment to a standard size. Adds $235 (deep rib) or $360 (corrugated).
  3. Fully custom - any dimension not on the size grid. Adds $460 (deep rib) or $590 (corrugated).

Custom sheds at the larger end of the range are always steel frame, regardless of what is on the standard tier. Send the sales team a sketch or your slab dimensions and they will work through the options with you.

What's the smallest / largest shed you can make?

The smallest standard sheet length is 0.81m - suitable for tucking a very small shed into a courtyard or narrow side passage.

The largest standard gable in our range is approximately 9.28m wide x 4.66m in steel frame deep rib - large enough for a workshop, garage or small commercial storage building. Anything wider than 5 sheets requires either a truss (heavy duty) or portal (steel frame), and any wall longer than 5 sheets needs to be split.

For sheds at the larger end, we would recommend talking through site access, anchoring and any council requirements with the sales team before locking in dimensions.

Can I get an odd-shaped shed (corner, trapezoidal, narrow)?

Yes - trapezoidal, slim, corner, hexagonal and other custom shapes are all available. Some configurations need steel frame regardless of size, so the sales team will confirm at quote time. Send through a sketch or measurements and they will work out the right structural approach.
